What is Captions?

Captions specialized in one precise format: talking-head video, where you film yourself speaking (Reels, Shorts, testimonials). Despite its name, it goes well beyond animated captions: it corrects eye contact (so you appear to look at the lens even while reading your script), dubs the video into several languages, and offers 'AI Twin' avatars that speak in your place. You film, and the tool edits and styles automatically.

It's the ally of the solo creator who produces spoken content in series and wants a clean result without spending hours in editing software.

Its limits come from its specialization: it's built for short talking-head format and offers less outside that frame, credits depend on the plan, and the avatars, while striking, remain imperfect (the uncanny valley is never far). Where Opus Clip cuts long content and Submagic dresses up a Short, Captions focuses on the comfort of the creator who films themselves.
